CONSTRUCTION WORK AT KAOHSIUNG INTL AIRPORT

  1. This AIP SUP replaces AIP SUP 27/25 (Phase 2, Phase 8 and Phase 9 deleted).
  2. To avoid jet blast hazard, pilots shall use minimum breakaway thrust/power setting near construction areas.
  3. Airport operations are limited to aircraft with a wingspan up to but not including 65M (up to and including aerodrome reference code E).
  4. Estimated construction period is through JUL 2027. The following construction phase will be activated by NOTAM.

Phase 1 (during curfew 1601-2230 UTC)

  1. RWY 09/27 closed.
  2. All Taxiways closed.
  3. The airport, under the above conditions, is only available for emergency medical service helicopter TKOF/LDG at designated area.
  4. The airport is not to be used for technical landing or not to be requested as an alternate for flight planning.
